Scientists link daily stress to hidden heart risks
NCT ID NCT06860724
Summary
This study aims to understand how emotional reactions to everyday stress affect blood vessel function, and whether this link is stronger in adults with depression. Researchers will track the daily stress and emotions of 18 working-age adults (with and without depression) for two weeks using a mobile app, while also measuring their blood vessel health. The goal is to learn more about the early connections between mental health and long-term heart disease risk.
