Scientists probe hidden link between stress and Women's heart pain
NCT ID NCT05401630
Summary
This study aims to understand how mental stress affects the heart and blood vessels in post-menopausal women who have chest pain due to problems with their heart's smallest blood vessels. Researchers will compare 150 women across three groups: those with this condition, those with blocked heart arteries, and healthy women. Participants will undergo stress tests, heart imaging, and wear home monitors for a week to track how their bodies react to daily stress.
