Can stress levels predict brain cancer survival?

NCT ID NCT05431348

Summary

This study investigated whether psychological stress and physical activity affect how well patients with glioblastoma (an aggressive brain cancer) respond to standard chemo-radiation treatment. Researchers measured stress in 42 patients using smart watches, blood tests, and questionnaires to see if it was linked to survival time, quality of life, or treatment side effects. The goal was to understand this relationship to potentially identify patients who might benefit from future stress-reduction programs.
