New heart test could catch hidden heart failure sooner
NCT ID NCT06927973
Summary
This study tested whether adding extra images during a standard heart stress test could help doctors more accurately diagnose a type of heart failure. Researchers enrolled 30 adults over age 50 who were getting a stress test for chest pain or shortness of breath. The goal was to see if this improved method could identify patients with undiagnosed heart failure that other tests might miss.
