New scan method could catch hidden heart failure
NCT ID NCT06927973
Summary
This study tested whether taking extra heart images during exercise stress tests helps doctors determine if chest pain or shortness of breath is caused by stiff heart failure. Researchers studied 30 adults over 50 who were already scheduled for stress tests. They compared different methods to see which best identified this hard-to-diagnose heart condition.
