Summary

This study looks at whether long-term stress plays a role in cardiac arrest. Researchers will measure the stress hormone cortisol in hair samples from 136 adults who had a cardiac arrest or heart attack. The goal is to see if higher stress levels are linked to worse outcomes after a cardiac arrest.
