Summary
This study aims to understand if long-term stress plays a role in causing or affecting recovery from a sudden cardiac arrest. Researchers will measure a stress hormone in hair samples from about 136 people who have experienced a cardiac arrest or heart attack. By comparing hormone levels with medical records, they hope to learn if stress is linked to how these events happen and how well people recover.
