Could Mom's stress levels predict pregnancy diabetes?

NCT ID NCT05798377

Summary

This study aims to understand how a pregnant person's stress and mental health affect their body's ability to process blood sugar. Researchers are looking at medical records and following 150 pregnant volunteers to see if stress helps explain why some people develop gestational diabetes, especially among different racial groups. The goal is to find better ways to identify who is at risk so they can get earlier care.
