Summary
This study tested whether using a stress ball before gallbladder removal surgery helps patients feel less scared, anxious, and more comfortable. 90 adults scheduled for surgery were asked to squeeze a stress ball beforehand. Researchers measured their fear, stress, and comfort levels using simple questionnaires. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free technique could ease pre-surgery worries.
