Squeeze away labor pain? simple stress ball tested in delivery rooms
NCT ID NCT07451834
Summary
This study tested if using a stress ball during the active phase of labor helps women manage pain and feel more comfortable and in control. 78 low-risk pregnant women were randomly assigned to either use a stress ball during contractions or receive standard care. Researchers measured pain levels, comfort, and feelings of self-efficacy to see if this simple, non-drug method made a difference in the birth experience.
