First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether squeezing a stress ball during wound cleaning (debridement) helps reduce pain, distress, and changes in heart rate or blood pressure in people with diabetic foot ulcers. About 84 adults with type 2 diabetes will be randomly assigned to use a stress ball or receive standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free technique can make the procedure more comfortable and improve patient cooperation.
