Squeeze away surgery fear: simple ball tested in eye operations
NCT ID NCT07452770
Summary
This study is testing if using a simple stress ball during cataract surgery can help patients feel less pain and fear, and be more satisfied with their experience. Researchers will give stress balls to some patients during their procedure and compare their reported pain, fear, and satisfaction levels to patients who do not use one. The goal is to see if this easy, drug-free method can make a common surgery more comfortable for people.
