Squeeze away stress: simple ball eases Moms' test anxiety

NCT ID NCT06741254

Summary

This study tested if using a simple stress ball could help pregnant women feel less anxious and more comfortable during a routine non-stress test (NST), which monitors the baby's well-being. Researchers compared 70 pregnant women who used a stress ball during the test to those who did not. The goal was to see if this easy, non-drug method could improve the test experience and potentially lead to more accurate results by lowering maternal stress.
