New study tests tougher warnings to curb teen cigar use
NCT ID NCT06413797
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether stronger warning labels on little cigars and cigarillos (LCCs) can reduce teens' and young adults' desire to use them. Nearly 1,000 participants aged 15-20 who had used or were open to using LCCs completed surveys about their willingness to use these products. The goal is to help the FDA create more effective warnings that could prevent young people from starting or continuing to use LCCs.
