First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at why many people in rural Assam who are referred for eye care do not go to the hospital for treatment. Researchers will test a program that includes patient navigation, transport help, and reminders to improve the number of people who complete their hospital visit and surgery. The goal is to increase the referral completion rate to at least 70% and surgical conversion to 45% over 36 months.
