Exercise study aims to slow muscle decline in kids with DMD

Summary
This study will test whether different types of strengthening exercises can improve muscle strength and walking ability in 45 children aged 6 to 10 with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Researchers will also measure a chemical marker in the blood called creatine-kinase to see how the muscles respond. The goal is to find safe, effective exercise approaches to help maintain function and independence.
