Could your workout be straining your eyes? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07326462
Summary
This study aims to understand how different types of strength training and breathing techniques affect pressure inside the eye and blood flow in the retina. Researchers will measure these factors in 60 healthy young adults while they perform exercises with normal breathing versus a breath-holding technique. The goal is to gather information that could help athletes and active people train more safely for their eye health.
