New exercise combo aims to stop seniors from falling
NCT ID NCT07380282
Summary
This study tested whether adding general strength training to a proven balance exercise program could further reduce the risk of falls in older adults. Researchers compared two groups of adults aged 60+: one did the standard balance exercises alone, while the other did the balance exercises plus extra strength training. The goal was to see if the combined approach improved both physical balance and participants' confidence in avoiding falls.
