One-Day liver cancer treatment could cut hospital time in half
NCT ID NCT06618300
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a liver cancer treatment called Y90 radioembolization can be safely done in one day instead of two for people with small tumors (under 5 cm). Normally, patients need two separate hospital visits, but this streamlined approach skips an extra imaging step. The goal is to see if the one-day method is just as safe and effective while saving time and healthcare resources. About 30 adults with small liver cancers that have no aggressive features will take part.
