First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to do laser eye surgery (PRK) for nearsightedness. One method uses a laser to remove the eye's surface layer, while the other uses a manual tool. The goal is to see which approach leads to clearer vision and faster healing. About 100 people aged 18-40 with mild to moderate nearsightedness will take part.
