Summary

This early-stage study tested whether a new oral medicine called STP7 (mavoglurant) changes how the body reacts to cocaine. Researchers gave 21 adults with cocaine use disorder either the medicine or a placebo, along with controlled doses of intravenous cocaine. The main goal was to check for safety issues and see if the medicine changed cocaine's effects on the heart, blood pressure, and how people felt.
