Can personal stories help control diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07307430
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a structured storytelling education program to usual diabetes care helps adults with type 2 diabetes improve their blood sugar control. About 226 participants with elevated blood sugar levels will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone or standard care plus several short coaching sessions focused on their personal experiences with diabetes. The main goal is to see if this personalized storytelling approach leads to better long-term blood sugar management after three months.
