First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve (a key nerve in the body) to see if it is safe and helpful for people who have had a brain bleed from a burst aneurysm. The device is placed on the neck and delivers gentle electrical pulses. Researchers will enroll 25 adults in the ICU to monitor for side effects and check if the treatment can reduce complications like seizures and improve survival.
