New Two-Pronged attack on advanced stomach cancer

Summary
This trial is testing a two-step treatment for stomach or gastroesophageal cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining. First, patients receive standard chemotherapy. If the cancer hasn't spread to other organs, they then receive a second type of chemotherapy delivered directly into the abdomen. The goal is to see if this approach can better control the cancer and extend the time before it gets worse.
