New gel could ease menopause symptoms without hormones

Summary
This study tests a new hormone-free gel for women with genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), which causes vaginal dryness, pain, and other discomforts. About 80 postmenopausal women will apply the gel for 8 weeks. Researchers will use a questionnaire to measure changes in symptoms and quality of life.
