Major heart study: ditch the blood thinner after ablation?

Summary
This large study is testing if people who have had a successful procedure to fix an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) can safely stop taking daily blood-thinning medication. It will compare the risks of stroke and serious bleeding between people who stop the medication and those who continue it. All participants will wear smartwatches and use other monitors to closely check for any return of the irregular heartbeat.
