Daycare feeding habits under fire: new study aims to cut childhood obesity at the source
NCT ID NCT07107321
Summary
This study aims to prevent childhood obesity by helping daycare teachers stop using feeding practices that promote unhealthy weight gain in young children. Researchers will test a package of support strategies, including training and peer coaching, across 88 daycare centers in Arkansas and Louisiana. The goal is to see if changing how educators feed children during meals can improve kids' diets, willingness to try new foods, and ultimately their weight.
