At-Home stool test could ease Follow-Up for colon cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT04624555

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple at-home stool test can reliably detect returning polyps or cancer in people who have already been treated for early-stage colon cancer. Researchers will compare the results of the stool test to the standard follow-up method, a colonoscopy. The study also asks participants about their satisfaction with the at-home test compared to the colonoscopy procedure.
