Heart Patients' stomach shield: new study tests protection from blood thinner side effects
NCT ID NCT07354230
Summary
This study tested whether Rebamipide helps protect the stomach in people with atrial fibrillation who take blood-thinning medications. Researchers compared Rebamipide alone, Pantoprazole alone, and the combination of both medicines over 24 weeks. The goal was to see which approach best prevents stomach bleeding, ulcers, and other digestive problems in 210 participants.
