Scientists probe mystery link between stomach damage and pain
NCT ID NCT07250308
Summary
This study aims to understand if people with a specific type of confirmed stomach lining damage (chronic atrophic gastritis) experience different or worse digestive symptoms than those without it. Researchers will observe about 315 adults who have had a recent stomach scope showing possible damage. They will compare symptom surveys, diet, sleep, and stress levels between the two groups to see if the confirmed damage correlates with more pain, burning, or fullness.
