Cancer surgery showdown: which operation works best?
NCT ID NCT07482566
Summary
This study compares two different stomach cancer surgeries to see which one works better for patients with advanced tumors where the stomach meets the esophagus. Patients will be randomly assigned to receive either a partial stomach removal or a complete stomach removal, then followed for up to five years. Researchers want to know which surgery gives patients better long-term cancer control and fewer complications after the operation.
