Pill camera with AI aims to spot stomach cancer early

NCT ID NCT07323186

Summary

This study is testing a new, less invasive way to screen for stomach cancer. Participants swallow a small, magnet-guided video capsule (like a pill camera) that takes pictures inside the stomach, assisted by artificial intelligence. The goal is to see if this pill camera is as good as the current standard procedure, a conventional endoscopy, at finding early signs of cancer in 100 patients.
