New attack on advanced stomach cancer: boosting immune system in the abdomen

NCT ID NCT05802056

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether adding an immune-boosting drug directly into the abdomen, along with standard immunotherapy and chemotherapy, can better treat stomach cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining. The goal is to see if this combination can reduce the amount of cancer in the abdomen and improve outcomes. The study will enroll about 15 patients who are starting or already receiving first-line treatment for this specific type of advanced cancer.
