New stomach cancer injection aims to replace lengthy IV drips

Summary

This study is testing if a stomach cancer drug called tislelizumab works just as well when given as a simple injection under the skin, compared to the standard method of a slow infusion into a vein. It will involve about 351 adults with advanced stomach cancer who have not yet received treatment for their advanced disease. The main goal is to see if the injection method delivers the drug to the body as effectively as the IV method, while also checking if it controls the cancer and is safe.
