Could fixing your gut bugs fix your metabolism?
NCT ID NCT07306988
Summary
This study is looking at whether treating a common stomach infection (H. pylori) can help improve related health issues like high blood sugar and cholesterol. Researchers will also test if adding probiotics or a natural supplement (berberine) to the standard treatment makes these benefits stronger. They are recruiting 120 adults who have both the stomach infection and metabolic syndrome to participate.
