Could your stomach bug hurt your heart?

NCT ID NCT07306377

Summary

This study aimed to find out if a common stomach infection called H. pylori is linked to unhealthy cholesterol levels, which can raise the risk of heart disease. Researchers looked at 300 adults, checking for the infection and measuring their blood fats. The goal was to gather knowledge, not to test a treatment, to see if treating this infection could one day be a way to help prevent heart problems.
