New stitch technique aims for fewer infections, better scars for kids
NCT ID NCT07335835
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to close the skin after a child's stoma reversal surgery. It will compare a traditional straight-line stitch with a newer circular 'purse-string' stitch in 50 children. The main goals are to see which method leads to fewer wound infections and results in a better-looking scar.
