Summary

This study tested whether giving patients a special checklist for managing their stoma at discharge helps them adapt better and feel better about their quality of life. 80 adults with a new stoma were split into two groups: one got the checklist plus standard training, the other got standard training alone. Researchers measured adaptation and quality of life to see if the checklist made a difference.
