Simple stockings could shield cancer patients from Treatment's painful side effect

NCT ID NCT07164950

Summary

This study is testing if wearing a medical compression stocking on one foot during cancer treatment can prevent nerve damage, a common and painful side effect. The trial involves 58 patients with advanced cancers who are receiving a specific type of targeted drug therapy. Researchers will compare the foot with the stocking to the foot without it to see if the stocking reduces numbness, tingling, or pain.
