Blood test could replace invasive biopsies for prostate cancer monitoring

NCT ID NCT07478536

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test called Stockholm3 can accurately detect when prostate cancer becomes more aggressive in men who are being monitored instead of immediately treated. The goal is to see if this test can help doctors safely follow patients with fewer invasive biopsies. The study will involve 350 men who are already on active surveillance and scheduled for routine follow-up biopsies.
