New combo therapy aims to boost lung cancer treatment

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called STK-012, alone or with standard chemotherapy, in people with advanced solid tumors, especially a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The goal is to see if adding STK-012 helps shrink tumors better than standard care alone. About 364 adults with untreated, advanced NSCLC or other solid tumors will take part. The study is currently recruiting for its second phase.
