First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests two different stitching techniques for closing surgical wounds on the head or neck. Half of each wound will be closed with a standard running stitch, and the other half with a locking running stitch. Researchers want to see which method leads to less scarring. The study will enroll 50 adults who are already scheduled for surgery.
