Summary

This study tested a new method to repair a type of cleft palate that affects the upper gum (unilateral alveolar cleft). Ten patients received a 'sticky bone' graft combined with a special growth factor membrane. The researchers checked for inflammation, fluid leaking into the nose, return of the gap, and how well new bone formed.
