Summary
This study tested two types of eye injections—steroid (Ozurdex) and anti-VEGF—given before cataract surgery to 16 adults with diabetic macular edema (DME). The goal was to see which better controlled retinal swelling and preserved vision after surgery. Participants were followed for 3 months to measure eye thickness and visual clarity.
