New dressing aims to cut steroid use for cancer Patients' painful skin

NCT ID NCT04087629

Summary

This study is testing if a flexible wound dressing called StrataCTX can help reduce the need for steroid creams in people with painful skin reactions. These reactions can be caused by skin lymphoma (CTCL) or by chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatments for other cancers. The main goal is to see if the dressing can relieve itching and improve quality of life while allowing patients to use less steroid medication.
