Summary
This study is testing if a steroid injection in the knee that is NOT being replaced can help people recover better from total knee replacement surgery. Researchers want to see if reducing pain in the 'good' knee helps patients move more easily and feel less overall pain after their operation. The study will involve 60 people with arthritis in both knees who are scheduled for a single knee replacement.
