First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested two treatments for vocal nodules (small growths on the vocal cords that cause hoarseness) in 50 adult women. One group received a steroid injection directly into the nodules, while the other group underwent a special voice therapy called the Accent method. The goal was to see which approach better improves voice quality and reduces nodule size. The trial has been completed, and results will show which treatment is more effective for easing symptoms.
