Summary

The goal was to measure pain levels and disability before and after treatment.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

steroid injection

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a simple injection to ease low back pain from a specific trapped nerve, helping people avoid more invasive treatments.

What could go wrong

This was a small, single-arm study with no comparison group, so results may not be reliable. The injection may not work for everyone, and there are risks like allergic reactions or infection.
