Summary

This study tests whether a 5-day course of the steroid methylprednisolone can help adults with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury recover better. About 520 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo, along with standard care. The main goal is to see if the steroid improves long-term brain function and reduces deaths.
