New program aims to get more hispanic patients with back pain into physical therapy

Summary
This study tests a program called STEPPT that trains doctors and provides educational materials and scheduling help to encourage Hispanic patients with back or neck pain to try physical therapy. About 17,587 adults from community health centers will take part. The goal is to see if this approach increases how often doctors refer patients to physical therapy and how often patients actually go.
