New Parent-Led therapy aims to bridge gap in youth mental health care
NCT ID NCT07228143
Summary
This study is testing a new, more accessible way to deliver therapy for childhood anxiety. It uses a 'stepped care' model where parents first learn skills through online materials to help their child, with more intensive therapist support available if needed. The goal is to provide effective, lower-cost treatment that overcomes common barriers like cost, time, and therapist availability for families in Texas.
